Steve Wiebe Creator Chat - Raw Transcript

It's been a few months coming, but here is the long chat transcript from the Steve Wiebe (King of Kong) chat in April. It was an amazing turnout, and next year we'll have to do another talk with Steve in the newer chat module. Here is the Steve Wiebe announcement post.

Steve was a really nice guy and was patient as we had a lot of members that wanted to greet him. Certainly if he comes back, we'll probably look at doing some sort of video chat to keep things more efficient. When you are on the elevator board and are waiting for a long spring, what makes you double back down the ladder to wait again? I'm guessing another long barrel but it's so hard to tell when those damn springs are bouncing at mach 3!

I have played it. The designer, Jeff K, was very kind to send me one "on the house". I played for a week or so and got up to about 160,000. It's a fun game that requires much more precision than the original.
