Thanks Rick. I'm working on some of the steering components now. I've had to have a lot of new nylon pieces made and come up with my own rubber stoppers for the handle bars.

Thanks for the kind word. I played this as a kid. It's been lot of fun so far. The steering controls are yet to come. This is where it's going to get tricky. Stay tuned.

New CPO installed. It seems to have turned pretty good. I'll put a befor and after up so you can see how much appoved the new cp looks. Then starts the hard stuff of putting it all back together.

Got parts back from paint shop. Going to try to apply my new CPO today. Wish me luck.

Took forever to get all the adhesive off of this. Finally used bench grinder brush to remove most of it and a Roloc Disc on a die grinder to get the back side.

Not to bad. Not on textured vinyl, but not complaining. Got the other cp parts back from paint shop. I'll try to get some pics up soon.

Sega Hang On Jr continued:

I have been busy at my real job. I work at a car dealership and we are moving into a new building, and I mean NEW!!! As in they are still working on it. Anyways, the only thing that I have been able to get done this far is putting the coin door together and re-installing it. Aslo put the marquee brackets and bezel brackets on after fresh paint. Here are some pics of the finished door. I chose to keep the original door as the Sega instructions for the coin mechs and serial #'s were still there

Okay, so checking on the powder coating didn't pan out like I had hoped, but I am going to have a body shop friend of mine paint them. Should be okay. I didn't bother with pics since the parts are just primered gray at this point to keep them from rusting.

I have a friend working on the cpo and should have some results hopefully by the end of the month.

The cp parts that I couldn't find as replacements, I went to another friends shop that has a machinist lathe and made some of those on that. T… Continue
