Dig Dug Dark Screen

First 6 to 8 levels were fine then straight dark for 2-4 levels then back to good view. Strange!!!!

Dig Dug Dark Screen

Well its more like the whole screen is black except for your player and the monsters and the rocks so you cant see any tunnels. I can take a pic and send it

I recently got my Dig Dug up and running and while playing i ran into the levels with the black background?? Dont remember this from my youth. Maybe too much weed or drink....... Anyways can someone…

Levels 9 to 12 use the greyish-green color scheme. All other levels use the yellow-orange-red color scheme.

Mine was the same. The tunnels were very very dark and I could not tell where I had already dug. If the first few levels look fine I would try the monitor settings.

When I bought my Dig Dug, it had the same problem. Levels 9-12 (I think) had a very dark background. I just adjusted some of the settings for the monitor (brightness, contrast etc) to get it back to normal.

It looks like the shipping to New England is going to be too much money. A round trip in my van would be several hundred dollars. I want it and would pay someone to get it up here but I can't do a 3000 mile trip...as much as I love Winky.
