Yea, I went multicade in the end. The Marine date was not original (trackball never fit and the game boards where rammed in the cab). I have installed a multicade 60 in 1 board just so that I can play the classics as there are no arcades local but I…

I might put the photo's on the site. So far the project is looking nice. I have restored the Taito back to Space invaders. I have installed a new jamma harness, 2x sanwa sticks, 6x happ buttons, 2x sanwa start buttons and a 60 in 1 board. However th…

Is there a full JAMMA DK board or did you have to go with a JAMMA adapter to the DK board ? Are you replacing the speaker ? Just wondering how your project is coming along ?
June 6, 2009
Turns out that the speaker does work. The jamma board has a headphone jack on it also. I have connected a set of pc speakers with a built in amp for now just to get sound.

Do you have a known working speaker? Also, do you have a volume pot some where ? maybe its turned all the way down?

Hi all, me again. I have now installed a Jamma harness and game with all power, monitor, coin, test etc but I cannot get any sound. I have 2x wires form the connector. They have no power what so ever running through them. I connected them straight t…

Well said Dane, I agree that people who play video games part time or use their wii as a social toy will see the kok movie and knock these people. Walter and the rest have done so much to preserve video games. However Billy did come across very badl…

I forgot to mention that the game is not original to the cab. I know this because the bloke who sold it to me told me so + the boards dont fit the shelf inside the units + all connections made were done badly.

Thanks mate, I have decided to go the jamma route. The marine date game is a rare one but as we all know that unless someone actually wants it then it is worthless in £s or $s. I will donate the board and its original controls + table top instructio…

Yeah its quite a uneque situation you have there and the current game that resides inside. The KLOV indicates that there is no members currently owning that title. let alone a table top version. The Marine Date is a Tatio title so what makes you thi…

Try to ignore the people giving you a hard time about converting your game to a multigame. Obviously it is something some people fell as strongly about as religion. Most people here are OK with multigames. Heck, I think just about everyone has strongly considered, if not setup a multigame, or even a MAME computer machine at one time. :-)

I admire you for putting out the effort to find someone who could use the parts you aren't going to be using. And look at that, you have a taker. :-)
