Most people would consider Hurricane to be the worst one of the roller coaster games. But unlike Cyclone and Comet, Hurricane is a DMD (Dot Matrix game). I parted out the two Hurricane pins that I once owned. They are actually worth more in parts th…

I picked up a Hurricane pinball machine about a month ago. I have now mastered it, but this is one beautiful cabinet, gameplay, and my kids (6, 4) love the machine! I'm now looking to replace it for a Cirqus Voltaire or a Family Guy pinball though.…

I just recently shopped out and sold my Hurricane. When I first picked it up I was kinda down on it, but after a nice shopping out (I did a full playfield teardown, clean, wax, etc.), the game played a lot better and I kind of regretted having commi…

It's considered the worst of the series of Coment, Cyclone, and Hurricane. I'd take one for the right price. It's not horrible, and I like the amusement park theme. Wade

Jon,

Do you have photos of Showdown or Who Dunit that you might be able to share in my Exidy thread?

Jon,

Welcome to CoinOpSpace.com, we're happy you took the time to sign up and at least poke around the site. Good to have another collector here that has so much experience.

I see that you live in CO. You probably know most of the guys out and around you, but you still might try this group for networking;

http://classicarcades.ning.com/group/rockymountaincollectors

Things are structured differently here, it's not just a forum, but so much more powerful than that. If you have any questions about how things work that may not be apparent right away, do drop me a line.

Also make sure to check out the usage rules when you get a chance to familiarize yourself with how we expect the site to work. The photos are particularly interesting. Anytime you upload a photo you think goes to your 'profile', it does into the main section as well. That is why we limit photos like that to be of arcade games.

For your personal photo, I would ask that you either set it as 'private', so that your friends can only see it, or add it into a blog post instead so that it doesn't appear in the main repository. Refer to the rules as needed.

If you have any feedback on the rules - things to add / remove, do let us know. We want this site to be for the collectors as much as possible.

Happy to have you.

~Jeff
