Still recovering from last years lighting storm.

Last night I sat down with the intent of getting some games done and I did.... I hope. Now 'seem-to-be' working are:
1. Virtua Racing Deluxe - seems to be working fine now.
2. Mad Planets - still has minor issues as of last night... sound very low, but may just be a bad volume pot. We'll see.
3. Berzerk - now has highscore save kit too. Would like Mark Spaeth's Berzerk/Frenzy kit.
4. Carnevil
5. Ridge Racer IV - need to silicone the pots on the flybacks or replace the flybacks. For some reason a… Continue

Do you have any photos of the Mad Crasher by SNK? I would be really interested to see that...

As soon as the addition's done I'll be able to line up my EMs (and work on them). Right now the Sonic Fighter is in the shed. I haven't played it yet because it was missing the "scanning unit" and the fire button (which I plucked from another SF). So, hopefully, putting both of those items in my SF will take care of things. I promise I'll take lots of pictures and videos! Watching EMs work is wild.

Hi Mike,

No problem! Glad to see another EM enthusiast here! I need to post more pics of my EM games. I recently picked up an ALI Sonic Fighter and a Williams bumper pool EM game. If I only had the time to work on them!

Thanks for the EM link and info. Not looking to own a ton of these, but there are a couple that I would definitely like to have.

As for the Pot Of Gold - it depends on what needs to be done. I guess I have to learn sometime! If you have a price in mind on the Defender, let me know. I would need some hi-res pics though.

Thanks again for all of your time. I love looking at collections and talking about the hobby. I just don't own any of them yet. (I only have a 6-slot dedicated Neo Geo MVS cab, and a Sega Naomi Universal sit-down cabinet.)

Hey Mike,

Thanks for the reply. Defender and Pot Of Gold are definitely on my list to own someday, so let me know should they become available.

Thanks for the tip about the EM games as well. I have always loved them, but don't know anything about the mechanics involved. I would basically want to buy them working and in good shape. Any suggestions on where to look for EM games like that? I don't see them too often on ebay or here (for example.)

Again, I'm just astounded by the collection - fantastic.

My biggest issue is locating cabs in great cosmetic and working condition. I'm not experienced with the electronics involved, so that would be tough. I could possibly improve the cosmetics myself, but that would be about it.

Thanks again,
Steve

Are you going to make the chat this weekend with Alan Murphy / APB creator? Ask questions in the thread?....

You have games for sale? Where would I be able to check (online)?

I love the selection, especially the old shooters like Haunted House. I would LOVE to get my hands on some of those (any suggestions?)

Thanks for the info; I'm just getting started, so I appreciate all advice and suggestions.

Thanks,
Steve
