I'm guessing since Nichibutsu liscensed it to Taito here in the US, but still made machines of thier own, it was obviously liscensed by Sega for Japan. Sega was a much larger operation than Nihon Bussan, back in the early 80's. They probably did it…
Yeah.. I got a Vision Pro back in late October 2009 for my Pac-Man for $190. But it took 6 months of persistant searching to find it. But it was worth every penny to have a crisp Pac-Man monitor with zero maze/score burn in.
They're still available…

Most places are out of new CRT's.
Everybody hoarded them when they announced they were going to quit manufacturing them back in 2008. And if you do happen to find one, be prepared to pay a pretty penny for it.

I know TZ is highly sought after, but the only way I would ever willingly pay over $5000 for a TZ, is if it was still in it's original shipping crate. If I was paying $10,000, there had better be two machines in that crate ;)
I don't think ANY GAME should be a multicade, unless it was designed as a multicade.

Pac-Man used two strips of double sided black adhesive stuck to the plastic CRT bezel to hold up the tinted plexi.
