You have to remember Donkey Kong side art is very easy to remove and damage. I would estimate that under 5% of donkey kongs have their real art work on still, it is so common to see them today because of the easy access to the bootleg reproduction a…

This is kind of getting off topic, but... :) The hobby has deluded itself into thinking these bootleg boards and bootleg artwork are the exact same thing (if not better) then the real thing. If the mulitboard sellers would sell a 3-1 Konga Donkey (…

I obviously do not like multiboards, not only do i think they are bad for our hobby, but i feel that people like the original poster get scammed into buying them without realizing what they are really getting. I also agree I am being harsh, but I am…

Multiboards are bootleg board from china just like bootleg dvds or downloaded music. It's up to you if you consider them morally wrong, but the people making them and use them in their products are just looking to make a buck, not keep the quality o…

So you went shopping for a bootleg arcade cabinet and are surprised that you got a bootleg arcade cabinet? If you are trying to be cheap and buy illegal stuff, you shouldn't have high expectations. Most sellers are just looking to make a quick buck…

There are actually several changes in the defender art work. I've heard of people saying there are over 9 different versions, but I only know of 5. There are the sample games with kickplate art and without, the 2 colored stars, and another version t…

You do realize this is just an advertisement? He wants you to look through his pictures dreaming, and maybe see a game you'd buy. He seems to be very good about hyping his business, it seems to be the only reason he posts on any of the forums. From…

It's an unreleased Williams game, and I think it has probably been lost to history :( The board listed on KLOV is actually a konami DevastatorS listed in the wrong spot. They supposedly converted a Blaster cockpit into a Devastator and took it to a…

I'm hoping to make it to CAX this year, i'll have to check it out. I've only heard the rumors from the williams side of the story, which is that atari stole the name and concept from williams, then out lawyer-ed them. I've always wanted to hear mor…

Did you ever happen to deal with anyone who worked on Food Fight? Apparently there was some legal action over splat and food fight, and I would like to hear more of the story. Congrats on the nightmare, it's always cool to see the atari stuff.

Yeah, that's what surprised me. My tie fighter defender has the normal control panel, and as far as I know, they all do. But another cp came with mine, that has the same art as your control panel. I don't know all of the story behind this other cont…

That second control panel overlay is a very interesting piece. My understanding is it is the very first control panel overlay for Defender, meant to go on the "tie fighter" defenders. I have the original artwork/ control panel, but never realized it…

Matt,

Welcome to CoinOpSpace.com, we're happy you took the time to sign up and at least poke around the site. Always good to see people I have chatted with join up...did you find the site through one of my emails? Or some other way...its been a few months since we spoke.

I don't think you do much anymore with games, but I know you're in AZ . If you want to use this site to network with other collectors close to you in a location specific group (Buy, Sell, Trade, Meetup), you might try;

Arizona Arcade Collectors

Plus, I know you are THE Williams fan. We have groups here for pretty much every game but Mystic Marathon and Splat!

Things are structured differently here, it's not just a forum, but so much more powerful than that. If you have any questions about how things work that may not be apparent right away, do drop me a line. If you like the site, do tell your friends about it and help us grow.

Also make sure to check out the usage rules (Located at Pages > Rules) when you get a chance to familiarize yourself with how we expect the site to work. If you have any feedback on the rules - things to add / remove, do let us know. We want this site to be for the collectors.

Happy to have you.

~Jeff
