Former operators have the best NOS artwork

Collecting arcade games has always been an ebb and flow for me. There are periods where games fall into my lap, and other times where I have to drive to Georgia to make something happen. 2012 has been a busy year so far for games. First it was a couple of DECO minis in Kentucky, [...]

The Food Fight that got away

How badly did I want to own a Food Fight? Apparently bad enough to drive all the way from Indianapolis to the border of Georgia and Florida to pick one up this past December. I’ve always loved the Food Fight cabinet, but did not have an overwhelming desire to own the game. That was until [...]

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the webpage you maintain. It is user friendly and easy to post.If you would like to visit my arcade on one of your road trips, you and your caravan are more than welcome.I have very few video arcade machines but plan on filling that void this year.Hopefully I plan to add about 30 video and maybe a dozen pinballs down the road to make the collection well rounded. The collection I have now is 100 percent repaired, serviced by myself.About 90 percent of what you see is operational. It gets to be a full time job when you get over the 70 game mark.I hope to top out around 130 machines up and running in the next four years.Give me a call at 609 390 0995 if you would like to talk game shit.

Arcade Game Links for the Week - Jan. 16th, 2012

Posted on January 22, 2012 at 1:00am 1 Comment

The week in arcades, what Google uncovered and what people were chatting about.  Booze, sex, little green men and Napster haters. What other arcade game links really struck you this week?  Share in the comments...

NSFW (Language) - What the four ghosts are really talking about when they're not chasing down Ms. Pac-man.  Also, a little comic strip telling the real tale behind Pac-man's fall from grace.…

Bally Midway Tapper - Our members photos

Posted on January 22, 2012 at 12:00am 0 Comments

One of the many great features of this website is the photo gallery section.  Our members have uploaded a tremendous amount of content, showing pictures / photos of their arcade games in different states of restoration.  It feels like you can do a search and find at least one or two photos of that arcade you are looking for.  (If not, they might not be labeled correctly, something I continue to work towards.)

Here is a great gallery showing off some of our members and their…

Steve Wiebe Creator Chat - Raw Transcript

Posted on July 1, 2009 at 12:30am 0 Comments

It's been a few months coming, but here is the long chat transcript from the Steve Wiebe (King of Kong) chat in April. It was an amazing turnout, and next year we'll have to do another talk with Steve in the newer chat module. Here is the Steve Wiebe announcement post.

Steve was a really nice guy and was patient as we had a lot of members that… Continue

Russel 'Rusty' Dawe Creator Chat - Raw Transcript

Posted on June 21, 2009 at 10:30pm 0 Comments

As always, the live chat with a former Atari employee was a ton of fun. This is truly a great opportunity for collectors to meet the creators of their favorite games and ask them the questions they've always wanted to know. Rusty's chat was great because he so generously elaborated and a lot of cool information came out. Here is the 'original' transcript from the chat below. If you would like to see the 'nice' version… Continue

4 Monitors for sale in Indianapolis - $100

4 monitors that I picked up in the Monticello purchase, and do not have a need as I have a bunch of extras already. Untested.  Here are the model numbers: Nanao - MC-2000-RSanyo EZ-20WG 19K4901KAGA KZ 17V I also have a WG 19K4951 that I pulled working from another game.  I would sell that separately if interested, but it does have some burn. Additionally, I have 4 loose chassis.  $25 for the set.  I do not know what they are. …See More

"I don't have a spreadsheet but I used to keep track of the pinball machines I owned.  I am a little over 150 pins and best guess in videogames is around 60.  Most games have been sold but the keeper list is around 30. "
