I disconnected all of the connectors and plugged them back in, pulled and replaced the fuses and there is still no improvement.

Not sure, but you could be describing a hum bar. That was my problem with Ms.Pac. Replaced the line filter, easy fix.

Simple answer, strip the wiring out and drop a Jamma harness and a switcher power supply. Then buy a Pac Man to Jamma adapter and your back in business....

I would first cut those jumpers and throw away that little board the harness is connected to. Hook the harness up directly to the board.. That probably will not take care of your problem but its worth a shot.

That's bypassing the power contacts - would not be causing the speedup. Regarding the speedup, it sure is unusual. I'd either get it to a repair person or obtain another board - they are very reasonable these days. Bill
