Medieval Madness: Pinball Repair Log
My wife and I are now the proud owner of one of the grail games of pinball collectors: Medieval Madness. We bought it from a game room store on September 3rd, and it ended up having some issues when we got it home. I have been gaining a lot of confidence repairing this machine as all of the issues have been pinpointed within a couple of hours. So, I am enjoying my time repairing this machine.

Shane said… - Hey brian, Iam having a problem with my Super Pac Man power supply. It is blowing the fuse (1/4 amp 250v) at FC1A shown in the pic. I took my VOM and checked the path on a 20k ohm setting and the path from the fuse jumps over to D103 right above the fuse. But when i check the ends of D103 it shows me a Infinate number. Im not sure what D103 is? Is it a Diode ? Would my readings indicate that the path is not complete ? I was expecting 0.00 like when you test a fuse or trace from one end to the next. Or am i not understanding how D103 should be tested ?

- Hey Brian, got a little problem with the caps i got from BR. I went to remove one cap and it appears to have three prongs on it where as the new cap has only two. These were the caps Bob said would be for the G05/bally. They even have the same ratings. what do you make of this. All the other work Rectifier/ and transistors are done. This cap problem is the only thing holding me up now.
