The beginning of my gameroom

My wife and I purchased a Pirates of the Caribbean pinball machine for our game room two years ago. I now own a Galaga 3 (Gaplus) cocktail, a Pac-Man, and a Space Invaders Deluxe (SID). The SID need repairs, and will probably be sold off when I am done.

The more I read on this site the more I want to "borrow" a corner of my kid's playroom for arcade games. But the Galaga 3 will be nice as a kitchen table for the foreseeable future. :-)

I would love to own a Dragon's Lair someday.

Sounds like you have some battery corrosion. Clay at pinrepair.com says to use a "vinegar solution, to neutralize the battery's base". Here is the full context: Bob Roberts has a page on battery c...

Hack my Pac: 4-in-1 Pac-Man Menu

When I bought my above average Pac-Man cabinet, I wondered if there was a way to choose between playing Pac-Man or Ms. Pac-Man. My wife said she wanted to play Ms. Pac-Man with the fast mode enabled.

Of course I first ran across the 96-in-1 Multipac. But why in the world would you want to have 500 variations on Pac-Man (plus Pengo)??? Ok, Pengo would be cool, but I don't want to play "Pac Electric Cowboy", or "Pac Mr. R… Continue

Space Station: Pinball Repair Log

Space Station is one of two non functional pinball machines I picked up for at a Garage Sale about two months ago (the other is Comet). I decided to start with this one because it is at least partially playable. :-)

DISCLAIMER: The process to capture the chat is difficult and time consuming. Ning doesn't provide a log, nor is it possible to simple copy the chat text out of the chat window after the upgrade. So, I cannot promise I will always have the time to dedicate to this. But, here is my raw version of the transcript.

Hey what's up? I wasn't alerted by email to these comments so I'm just getting to them. I'm available and home those days.

Wow I'm a stay at home dad with a 10, 5 and 10 month old. All boys. lol. Let's make a day of it. I have a ride on elephant that works. The kids go nuts. I have a pinball gumball machine. I also have a playground horse-you know on the big spring. That was always my favorite. I've got streetfighter ex plus. also a roy clark entertainer cocktail pinball. cool. 2 slot machines. I also have some amazing views. I am 2 minutes off 15 at 76. I drove past Santee twice yesterday for arcade games. I went all the way to Imperial beach. If you can help me out, I'll have the light beer and the food for all.

I love pinball, but work/stay away from town during the week (Riverside, CA) so a weekday is tough for me. I'd love to get a pinball machine, but my 1st would be Addams Family, still pricey, so just vids to date. Keep me posted about future meetups please.

I will have to do that for my blog.
