I thought at first it might have been Joe & Mac Caveman Ninja, that was a Data East game involving whacking things with a stick and dinosaurs. Never even heard of Congo's Capers. Could it have been a Nintendo Super System with the cart in?
If its just the PCB, I would say its worth around £50-£60 in UK pounds, I did have one and sold it for a bargain £30, was not really my cup of tea, it gets a bit too repeative after a while. But is a farily hard to find pcb here in England.

Doing a bit more research I see Sun Electronics only made one Pcb in 1981 called Funky Fish, could it be that this was originally a Funky Fish and then converted to Kangaroo? Surely its not an early prototype!
