Today I added a "How To & Tips" section (including a new How To Solder video), added all of the pinballmap.com locations, and renamed the directory to include the new DIY aspect.

Keith, I would recommend reading the terrific repair guide at pinrepair.com/sys11 (yours is a System 9 game, but this guide covers both 9 & 11).

Your problem could be a number of things. The comment wall isn't the best place for an in depth troubleshooting discussion. Could you start a topic in the Pinball forum here, and give us some more detail?

BUMMER!
My William's Space Shuttle didn't register the ball draining, didn't pop out the next ball, and wouldn't start a new game went I rebooted. Now it won't start a game period. I've run through the tests and it will kick out a ball, flippers and everything works during test mode. I know the start button works because it is used for some of the tests. Anyone have any experience with this type of problem?

Hey.

On my off hours, I've been working on a little side-project of mine: a site that indexes places to play pinball.

Sites like this exist already but, they tend to be edited manually by a single person and often end up no longer being maintained due to this fact or are specific to a certain area of the world. (Since I launched this site, a few more have been pointed to me but they still lack the ease of use that pushed me to build my own.)

So I decided to try my hand at building one that can be edited by the community.

I've got an initial version up and running now. Obviously, as it's new, there's not much content in there but you should get the idea and hopefully might have some locations to contribute.

The site is at findapinball.com

Introductory Blog post right here.

There are plans for more features, like a mobile client that tells you where the closest pinball is, but I'd like to get the initial version bug-free and solid first.

Any contributions and/or feedback much appreciated.

I HAVE A " NITRO GROUND SHAKER" AND IT HAS SOME VERY LIGHT ACID DAMAGE , THE LIGHTS WORK BUT NOTHING ELSE. WOULD THE ULTIMATE REPACEMENT MPU BE A GOOD CHOICE OR HAVE MY BOARD REPAIRED? ANY INFO ?

Brian,
Thanks. That's exactly what I'm talking about. I was trying to reshape it but I was nervous about breaking it. I was looking for a replacement because the shape of mine is really weird so this is a good plan. Appreciate the help!
