Scored a Ms Pacman Cocktail game for $100 today. I have at home a broken standup. When I plugged it in, it is the slow version. It is for my wife, who only likes the fast version. The game was in a generic cocktail table. I pulled the board out, and it is a bootleg one. Can I use the readily available speedup chip for this, or do I need to do it a different way?

Al, check KLOV and put up a call out for that stuff in the items wanted thread. Someone will have them.

All I need now is the glass w/ artwork? Is twobits really the only option?

Jeff, were you asking me or Jeremy that question?

How is the cabinet? Faded? Gouges?

Recently picked up a Ms. Pac project cab and should have the last piece (a new CP) in within a week, so I figured it was time for me to join this group.

At a glance, yes it does look like a 19. There is some burn in, but it doesn't look bad at all. The cabinet itself is virtually blemish free. There is gum stuck under one of the control panels, and the glass is a bit scratched up, and the graphics insert could use replacing. Nothing major at all.

You lucky guy! Nice score.

Those have a 19" monitor in them, correct?

I just picked up this lovely lady tonight...

http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=35828&id=1546264198&l...

A Ms Pac Man cocktail cab. They guy said it worked 10 years ago when he put it in storage. For $75 I couldn't say no.

A quick check when I got it home tells me wvwrything looks to be in excellent condition. The monitor is completely disconnedted from it's wiring harnesses, but all of the fuses check out, and there don't appear to be any problems that jump out other than a couple of wires that are dangling. They appear to be ground wires. I am going to try to get her going this weekend.

So awesome...
