Repairing a G07 chasis. The old cardboard on the dining room table trick. ;-)

I guess I will start things off with a picture of my high-class arcade workstation. With my repair guides by my side (a.k.a. my laptop). My dad just gave me his old Weller 921ZX temperature controlled soldering iron to replace the pictured one.

Now that I have my Galaga 3 cocktail setup in the kitchen I have used it in conjunction with a folding work table to create a nice L shaped work area. Next time I do some soldering work I will add a new picture.

Anyone else have photos and details about their work bench? I'm looking to set one up, but looking for advice on what I need.

I would like to see this thread filled out for sure. I think that this is a detail overlooked from the more experienced collectors, but could help the rest of us out to just see...don't even need an explanation.

C'mon guys. 17 members and only 1 post showing their workbench!

Jeff - maybe you can invite some of the know repair guys that are on this forum to join this group.

I will hopefully have my workbench set up in a couple of weeks. I have looked at all the workbench threads at KLOV, and I think there is some chance I have everything on every list...ok, probably not, but I did go a little crazy buying test equipment.

I'll post pics when I get a chance. Here are a couple of teaser pics:
