WOW! Looks like an excellent haul of parts....and some decent cabs in the mix. I always love to see the file cabinets full of paperwork....I always seem to be on the endless quest to get all the original paperowrk for my games...

Great stuff and great story to go along with it. Thanks for posting it up.....

Thanks for posting this Chris. I love a good warehouse raid story. Thanks for revealing the purchase price. I appreciate the transparency. I don't know why that info is always such a closely guarded secret.

One question: how did you find this operator? Friend of a friend? Newspaper? Craigslist?

Didn't you raid a warehouse with Tom Campbell once? What about that one? Do tell...

Wow, how on earth do folks find out about these places. I would love to come across a goldmine like that, here in the UK chances are by far slim.

I found it because of my newspaper ad. Small local paper. I did "raid" a warehouse with Tom very early in my collecting history. It was more like a trip to an operators warehouse and the guy was/is still very active in the business. Lots of stuff and most of it he felt was worth 3x going rate or more. I did my first cab there and still have it nicely restored. Galaga. I also pulled the Tapper CT from his place a year or so later.

I sold 99.9% of the stuff. Most within' 3 months, the rest over a two year period of time. I would upgrade to a better cab and suddenly that warehouse raid project was no longer needed sort of thing. I kept most of the paperwork I found and some equipment, very few parts.

Fun stuff indeed.
