Have you actually played a South Park pinball machine before? It's not one of Stern's best.

I would have to assume if he is looking for one he has played it before.. :)

I have and I know its not the best. But its more for getting a machine my wife is interested in playing. I have three other machines and she only likes one...The Simpson's Pinball Party. So its fine if I don't like it after awhile it can be sold.

As well, I've done full on complete tear down projects. I'm not totally new to the project arena.

There are a few on Mr Pinball's classified site. I have bought 3 of them over the years at auctions for $800-$1200. Your right, it's not a great game, but they are somewhat easy to re-sell.

I could wait for a super auction to be in the area I suppose. Well, at least down in S. Cal. I'll check out the classifieds over there at Mr Pinball.

Brian
If you do not like the pinball then why have you purchased 3 of them in the past then?

Got the 3 units at a good price and re-sold them right away. The game is not really a keeper. Two of the ones I sold were back on the market after a few weeks. The owners could not stand the soundtrack. Paid $800 for one of them, $925 for the 2nd and the nice almost mint one was $1225. Good resellers to South Park fans.

If I could buy one for $1225 in great condition I'd be excited. As well, we are fans of the show so that helps.

You are correct, South Parks always hold their value as long as there are fans of South Park. I would buy as many as I could for $1000 as they are an easy $1500 sale. Its not that bad of a pinball game IMO. Same can be said about Data East Simpsons.

I never have played the Data East Simpsons. Just the stern one I have.
