Hello.

The coin lights and player 1/2 button lights are not working. All four light sockets have new bulbs. So I've ruled out faulty bulbs. Does anyone know what might be the problem? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely a grouding issues or power is not getting to those areas. You'll need to start tracing back the wires to find the root problem. Start at the coin door connector and go back. Use your volt/ohm meter to verify the connection. If they have power going to the bulb, then the grounding circut is broken some where.

Shane, appears to be a bad fuse. I replaced the 5 amp (313) fuse on f2 and all is well.

Thanks for your help.

Yeah it was. I also talked to William Boucher (www.biltronix.com/arcade_02.html). Who has restored a Robotron from the ground up. If you haven't been to his website I highly suggest it. He is amazing at restoring games.

Thank you for your help Shane.

He is TOTALLY amazing at restoring his games. He has a couple for sale that I would have bought already, except he lives in Canada, and doesn't like to ship to the US. Not to mention one cabinet shipped is $455. :)

It's a shame though - the HUO Pengo would be mine otherwise!

Isn't he though. I am still blown away by his mad skills. He's is a really nice guy as well. Very helpful and detailed.

Too bad he lives in Canada. I would have been all over that Pengo too. It looks New!
$455 to ship...WOW! More then I thought it would be.

He does such a great job (just read the whole Robotron restoration blog), like some others around here. It's that attention to detail and desire to truly do it right that I would totally pay for.

I might be able to do some of that work, but the electronics, wiring, etc - no chance.

If he only lived in Texas... ;)

I feel the same way well worth the price.

I could also do some of the work but when it comes to the electronics....well thats why I posted here in the first place. lol!
I lucked out with my problem. It was only the fuse.

Nice chatting with you.
