after the death of my playchoice deluxe a few months ago i finally managed to get back in the game by purchasing another machine. this one is a slightly smaller single screen effort produced by a uk company called brent leisure on licence from nintendo.
unfortunately the colour is not working properly on the monitor. its just green (like a giant game boy:) actually now i've said that it is kinda cool but no good for playing dr mario :( i wondered if any one could tell me how easy this might be to fix and what would be involved. i was told by the guy i bought it from it was an rgb monitor (if that makes any sense to any one :)
thanks in advanced

I guess i would look at a color green pot on the neck board at the end of the glow tube. Maybe the green pot adjustment is all the way up washing the monitor to a green hue. Try turning that down some and see what happens. If that doesnt adjust or you dont have any color adjustment pots, your probably looking at a cap kit for the fix.

Hi Shane

Thanks for the response. I will be taking a closer look at it this weekend as I only picked it up yesterday. I wasn't expecting much at all from the monitor as he said it was faulty so the green is a bonus.
If it is a cap kit where can i get one from, how much should i expect to pay and is it something i should attempt as a novice. I heard monitors can be pretty dangerous and i value my life.

thanks again
steve
