Can you give more specific examples showing both? Like links to the sections so we know exactly where you are looking?

I looked around a little more and it seems that the Group discussions have the most recent reply on top and the Forum discussions have the oldest reply on top.

Yeah, I was wondering that too...on the ones where the oldest is on top, if there's more than one page, you have to click the page number link at the bottom to see the newest posts.

Click the 'last reply' link to go to the latest reply....only one click.

True, but if you haven't been following the thread closely, the more important thing is the last reply you've read, not the last reply itself.

As it currently stands, the easiest way to track posts is to subscribe to the forum rss feed, and read the boards that way. Doesn't include Groups, but it will catch everything else (I'd love a My Groups feed).
