As I was working on the yellow on the Ms. Pac-man in the gorgeous weather. That was honestly the first time that has ever happened, and surprising, because these operators are just as paranoid as your average collector I think....seem to keep to themselves.

Anyone else have an operator just drop by their house?

Nope i cant say that has happen to me although i tend to keep to myself as well and besides i live way out in the sticks. So what did the guy want ? Did you talk with him ?

I 'chatted' with him. It was mostly him talking....I am not sure if he wanted anything, beyond maybe adding some games to his route...

I got his contact info, always good to know a few more ops I guess.

I'm going to be digging a little bit but our vending guy at work said he knows several people who sell games. He didn't share much but I'll get more details sooner or later!

I bet that happens as often as someone finding two pinball machines for free at a garage sale. :-)

I would say that's very odd. He's probably seen the game traffic at your place and decided he needed in on the action. :-) You have moved a lot of machines in and out of that garage in the last few months.

And today!....ha ha...what a funny weekend.

I had a car stop, ask if I restored games, and if I sold. I handed out another business card, possibly for finding either your common DK or Pac-man, tried to sell them on a 48-1. Funny.

See, your an Op yourself. Maybe the other op sent the car to your place to see if you'd try to 'sell' your services. You better watch for the mafia to show up at your doorstep any day now to rough you up!

I caught in all of his chatter that his son lives on my road, so that is how he kind of heard about me. My hair was super slimy too...I had taken the hat off. Sooper.

Just remember... The first couple of retail sales are fun but it can get in the way of "collecting" fairly quickly. But it does help fund the hobby!

It wouldn't take many retail sales to pay off my remaining unpaid games....I would let it get in the way for a little while if I had a $0 gameroom.

I was almost at $0 (ignoring my first two games seeing those were suppose to be the only games in my basement). However, I've been very cautious with my purchases in MI since January seeing it's tough to dump stuff around here as of late. Not to mention everyone that is broke thinks their $50-$100 broken converted cabinet is worth $500+ as of late!
