My wife went to the movies to see Alice in Wonderland (I did not go YUK!) and she said a TRON trailer came up on the screen that gave her goose bumps. She said a boy gets a call from his father who I think is dead and the number came back to the arcade the father once owned. The kid goes to the old arcade and I guess there are video games just lined up.. She is not a video freak like us but she said it was pretty cool. She grew up in the 80's like alot of us did and it brought back memories for her. I cant seem to find the trailer so if anyone here can find it please post it here.

Did you notice the marquee and coin door on that TRON say "ENCOM" on them?

I'd like to remind everyone here that I'm having a Tron-a-Thon party the night of the 16th. There will be food, beer, a screening of the original film (sound down), my original Tron score will be spinning on vinyl, and of course the centerpiece will be the tournament on my Tron machine for Tron prizes. Following the party will be the screening of the new film at our local IMAX here in Grand Rapids.

The date may change slightly. I'm under the assumption that the IMAX will have a screening on the 17th at midnight. Should it be different, the party time will shift to match it.

Hey Tim, is your party going to happen when the new movie comes out? I thought I heard it was going to be Dec of this year. Just want to make sure of the date. Sounds like it could be fun.

Holy &%$#!!!!! That trailer is amazing. I had not seen that one. I always wanted a hidden room in a house, forget the moving bookcase - now I know how the room will be accessed!

Yep. To avoid confusion, I mean December 16th is the party. December 17 is the opening so I'm just assuming there will be a midnight showing...If it's different the party will move to accommodate.

I just e-mail Darin of Phoenix arcade and he didn't seem interested in making an ENCOM version of the marquee. I guess that leaves Rich.

What is Encom? Hollywood made up name? I guess I am confused? Why would you want one made in the first place.

Encom is the company that Flynn took over at the end of the original movie. It was the place that housed the MCP. God I'm a nerd.
