I 'm looking for a game that was out in the late 80s/early 90s that was very similar to Cabal except that the that background scrolled as you fought. I can't seem to find the name anywhere but descriptively the plot was your character is sent through time to eliminate an alien race that has emulated people in the different time periods. The first level I remember was World War 2 and when you'd shoot the enemy they'd turn into aliens.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Dynamite Duke is the only game remotely close to Cabal, that I can think of.

But the description given sounds waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off.

I think Matt is right except the game might have been Operation Thunderbolt it is like wolf but moves forward instead or right or left in certain scenes.

Thanks for the info so far. Actually Dynamite Duke is very similar to the game. The graphics were much better and I think it was a 2-3 button and joystick control board. Buttons were fire, kneel and special or else kneel/special were the same button. The game scrolled side ways until you got to the boss. Cut scenes were aboard a satellite/spaceship thing I think. Is there any way I could track the game down by where it was played and when?

Was it Space Gun? I initially though maybe Line of Fire, but that had no aliens in it. Area 88 has aliens in it, but that was later.
