I sent out a bulk email, but here's it is:

"Just a quick update. Waiting on revised quote from fab shop, should
have it today. Once in I can determine final cost for Frenzy, as one
collector is picking up the slack on this run.

The original Frenzy panel was cold roll steel, galvanized. I am
sticking with the stainless steel option because 1) it makes very
little price difference between the two options at such low qty 2) the
galvanized is more likely to rust over time.

Another fabrication note. The original Berzerk panel has square
notches in the button holes to receive the button tabs. Frenzy panels
have a round notch. The buttons fit better into the round notches so
I will be making that minor change to the Berzerk panels. You'll
never see it once buttons are installed anyway, but I wanted to let
you know.

I'll update again once the panel blank order is placed and the project
is underway."

So yes, the panels are moving forward. Berzerk is almost sold out.
Frenzy panels not sold are being purchased by one individual to allow
the project to move forward. Just waiting on cost revision to finalize
the deal. If you have not ordered one, now would be the time as I
expect to place the fab order in a few days. I will not be running
these again, ever.

Hopefully the one individual picking up the slack will still be able to do that for the Frenzy panels.

I think Chris said "Frenzy panels not sold are being purchased by one individual to allow

Hello everyone,

With all the BS floating around one of the well known forums in regard to repro projects, I thought I'd better write an update quick!

I am ready to move forward with the Berzerk panels, just waiting on a few minor details with the Frenzy panel before kicking both projects off full steam. I have to start them at the same time to "piggy back" the projects as I stated, the only cost effective way to do the Frenzy.

I will write again once the order is placed, but until then, take a look at the almost perfect Frenzy panel that was generously loaned out by Anthony at QuarterArcade:

Hello Shane, sorry was, out of town for nearly a week and missed a lot of good posts. I am actually not on the list for a new CP at this time. I could probably use one, but am pretty strapped for cash right now. If I can still get one, I will probably try to.

Chris- do you have any more openings for me to try to get one of your beautiful Berzerk CPs?

The order for the panel blanks was placed yesterday. I went out to the fabrication shop to review prints, drop off samples and discuss time frames. My guess is the blanks will be done in approximately 3 weeks time, as they need to make some new tooling. Frenzy artwork and screens will require some time to prepare anyway.

I don't know if you've checked Ebay lately but Berzerk marquees are going for premium prices. Last one sold for around $25. I think this is related to renewed interest in restoring them. I know I can't wait to get rid of the awful Rastan conversion in mine.

Speaking of Rastan, i just had a discussion with Zach and he is looking for a Rastan marquee. Do you have one for sale Mark ?

Good call Shane. Yes Mark, if you have any rastan artwork - marquee, bezel, etc, and want to sell them, please let me know.

Andy FYI Shane, I sent a payment to Chris today for one of the shiny, beautiful Berzerk CPs!

Berzerk marquee's have been getting $20 to $40 for as long as I can remember. It might be a worth while project, but I'm looking at bat sticks first, then bezels...only so much time in the day :-)
