I was looking for some classic arcade t-shirts and to be honest, I was sadly disappointed with the selection that I found. SO I decided I might throw my hat in the ring and see what happens. I have designed a few T-shirts and other MISC items and built a small online store. If someone actually buys something I will actually open a full store (pay money to run it) and offer a wide variety of other shirts and items. What do you think?

I am also looking for ideas, feel free to send them in... and please, buy something! HA!

I would say that in general....I agree with you. There just aren't too many good designs out there.

Or from my social bookmark group;

Diigo Arcade Shirt Bookmark Links

In the comments section are some sites that sell them...I'm sure you found / knew of most of them in your aforementioned search.

I think in general, the best site is this one;

SpreadShirt Retro Shirt Shop

So....don't have much feedback on your store specifically...other than I generally agree with you and hope you can come up with some 'true' designs beyond just sticking the flyer artwork on some cotton.

And you know Scott Evans apparently did / does occasionally some shirts...it would be awesome to see him be active...maybe if you didn't want to have the risk of doing your own thing you could contact him to team up?
Well, to really start taking it further I was trying to judge interest..I haven't really heard a lot of feedback and I would really like to move forward with some more designs and items other than what I currently have. I put some of those together and some are just the flyer artwork. So we shall see what happens... if someone actually buys something in the next few weeks I will probably move forward with the site.
The Burgertime apron is awesome!!

My only concern is the quality of the apron that it is on. I've heard mixed reviews on cafepress materials quality.

Cafepress materials are top notch. It's the PRINTING quality which is not so good. (ie: a mug print will fade in the dishwasher)
Sounds like a great idea...
Check out my Rampage World Tour shirt design in my profile photos .
As it happens, I created a New Tee Shirt design for almost every Original Game I've done over the years...
usually just for the design team when we released the game.
So most of them are a pretty limited edition, usually only 1-3 colors.

I've often had people ask if I would ever consider having new ones printed, but I never really gave it much serious thought.

Would you be interested in discussing the possibility of some sort of "mutually agreeable arrangement" to bring any of these old designs (Rampage, Xenophobe, Zwackery, Arch Rivals, Pigskin, Rampage World Tour, Cow Tipping, Arctic Stud, & more) back to life?

Sure, to be honest, I had to move the site and I am currently in the process of rebuilding, found a better site with more options. This is not what you would call a high profit margin thing, just fyi; we are talking about $1 dollar a t-shirt, so splitting that is like .50 cents... not a problem I was doing it more for the love of the hobby than expecting a huge profit. But I wouldn't mind working something out...
Pretty tremendous opportunity, I would snatch this up Mike. I think that if you wanted to be serious and make a splash, make a difference in good arcade tshirts, I think this would be a great initial offering....you don't have too many game creators approach a collector, who hasn't started yet, and offer this opportunity.

I sent the reply, just waiting to get some further contact information, I think it would be a great idea! I'm very excited about the opportunity. I was just saying not sure how much $$ is really in it... but it would be a lot of fun!
Make some Satan's Hollow shirts and I will buy some! H ere is a link to a pic of the original one. http://www.destructoid.com/blogs/Reverend+Anthony/i-make-no-apology...
I would absolutely fund these shirts being screen printed.
I just sent you my contact info attached to the "friend request" button, let me know if you don't get it.

I guess I better get on up to the attic and start taking some Pictures of these shirts;
I just hope my kids haven't dragged the last of them off to college...
Scott Evans has original Atari films, he used those to print up a few runs of shirts some time ago, and he's been selling off the remainder of the shirts on KLOV recently. I think he ended up sitting on a bunch of shirts for a long time, but I don't know how much effort was put into promoting the print work beyond the hardcore community... I wonder if he could be persuaded to share the films for another run (assuming no cost to him, and a cut of any profit?).
