Looks like a nice place to visit next time your in Chicago. the place appears to have a nice selection of good working games. Someone spent alot of time decorating the interior as well. I dont have any plans to visit at this time sadly : (

Why not? The trip too far?
This place was a lot of fun, I had a blast. I realize its sort of in the middle of nowhere for many people, but make a day of it, or stop by on your way to St Louis for one of the super auctions. You won't be disappointed.
It's 6+ hours from me but might need to make it happen and sooner than later!
I would like to go. But alas i have no vacation days. Being new to my company i am on the short stick for awhile.
PICs?

Bill
Good point....there have been a ton circulated around showing the inside, so how about some photos showing the bustling city that is McLean?

I loved how John was saying that when he moved there, close to family, and purchased the one building guys came out of the woodwork to sell him more - "We've got a live one here boys!"....

This is the little round about with the museum on one side.

I dont know why but when i see these pics it reminds me of a Twilight Zone episode about the last man running around town where there is no one...Well, at least you would have the games all to yourself : )
This is about 4.5 hours from where I grew up in MI, but it looks like a ton of fun. They have a lot of great games, and I was thrilled to see that someone put this together. I will try to get down there next time I am home and have some road homies around that will make the trip.
It is a little eerie. I think the later evening photos add to that a little.

Sounds like John used to have a pinball arcade setup in the bldg you see at the bottom with the van in front. That is his shop currently.
I like eerie arcades, just like I remember from when I was kid. Not all were eerie, but it was the eerie ones that made me feel like I was hanging out in a sketchy place with the older "cool kids". Seems hard to believe that such a sweet arcade is out in the middle of nowhere, but hey we all live all over the place and there are obviously individuals that really love these games and are willing to let others enjoy them as well regardless of where they live. I just wish I lived closer- I would probably be in there every night.
I'm about 30 minutes away and still haven't made it that way. I'll get there one of these days!
