2009 Coinopspace Restoration Contest Winner: Paperboy
The members have spoken, and we the judges also feel that the Paperboy restoration project was delightful, amazing, and just gorgeous when finished. For that reason, Chris has won the grand prize, of $200+ extras in gift cards and goodies to our well known arcade restoration outlets.
The Radarscope cockpit restoration was a very amazing undertaking as well, and had its own set of challenges - like finding another cockpit to use as reference...
Radarscope may have ended up in second, but will not go home empty handed.
For the runner up - Radarscope will get a subscription to Gameroom Magazine and will also have a $25 gift card to videogameparts.com curtosy of Stephen Beall.
Also, for all those that finished!!!
Sometime in the future, we'd like to get a shirt to all of the guys who finished their entries commemorating the 2009 contest. All of you guys who finished, please email me your standard shirt size.
Thanks to all who participated, and those focused and dedicated enough to finish. I wish there would have been more.
Hopefully we can do a pinball themed contest running next year. But that is TBD.

Thanks to all who entered, voted and donated whatever it took to make this contest happen. It was a bit disappointing to see so few machines finished however, the economy has not been friendly to the arcade hobby either. Hobbies such as this can be fun but time consuming and really expensive which ultimately may have played a major part in so few machines being finished on time. Keep at it guys, you'll finish even if your spouse thinks otherwise.
I look forward to continued business and hours of phone conversations/emails that it takes to get projects like this done and i still have a few more restos to do yet so don't quit yet Rich! Journey, Demo Derby, Star Wars and a couple of other possibilities that i'm trying to locate should keep me plenty busy for the next year.

Also little unkwon fact on this restore but everyone owes Chris a big thanks for convincing me to do the Paperboy Cpos and Handlebar overlays without this all your paperboys would still look like a wet newspaper left in the rain.
