This is a two piece buy with the dig dug being obtained from eBay. The DD is fully working with no problems and has very little screen burn. The cabinet condition does need some cosmetic attention when it comes around for restore but it is solid. Looks lke someone painted the edges with white paint as you can see from the pics. No doubt because the side art is probably torn or missing in a few spots. I think at 350 it was a little more than i wanted to spend but ive always wanted this title. When i picked the game up the guy had another game (Frogger) that was originaly sold on eBay for 220 i think but the buyer back out on the deal. So when i went to pick up the DD he offer the Frogger to me for 170. The Frogger is in quite good condition but this one has no side art for some reason. And the game does coin up and play but blindly in a way with garbage on the screen and 5 playfields are present. Sounds is all present as well. The game is complete and in great condition but looks like im gona have PCB problems with this one. The serial # on the Frogger is 197144 and the Dig Dug serial # is 13553.

Almost all Froggers were never ordered w/side art. You actually do not see to many Froggers w/stock factory side art. It was an option back then and most operators saved money by not ordering them with side art. I would do the same thing if I were in there shoes back then. I have had many Froggers come and go over the past 12 years and I do not think I ever had one with stock side art.

Hmmmm interesting. I dont think it does any disservice by not having the side art. The woodgrain sides on this one are really decent so it not so bad to look at. I think i will do the sie art on this one but its the least of my prioritys at this time.
