Creator Chat: Owen Rubin

Join us in a chat session with famous arcade game creator Owen Rubin. Owen's credits include the highly coveted Major Havoc, greatly loved Space Duel,Sky Diver, a prototype named Grudge Match (Ask him about it:) and many more.

Owen currently is building a startup in CA training next generation gaming developers for handheld platforms like the iPhone and Google's Android phone.

As of tonight, I pared down the Owen Rubin chat to just the questions and answers. I emailed Owen on March 5th to review the transcript, but never heard back. I gave him some time, and now went ahead in paring it down. I emailed him tonight, and am hoping he will get back with me soon so we can either get this on Rotheblog.com or into Gameroom Magazine in the coming months....

The Owen chat transcript is coming. Owen expressed some concern about republishing some of the information, so I am waiting for him to review the document and let me know what can be reprinted and what can't.

This may / may not be the last transcript. The chat no longer supports an easy way to retain the text.

I was lucky enough to get the last 20 minutes. I'm hoping that I get a chance to get the transcript if one becomes available so I can read all the stuff I missed.

Yeah, this is a really cool idea! I especially love Major Havoc (who doesn't?) and Space Duel is a blast as well. I'll definately be looking forword to this session!
